Tendonitis
Tendonitis can develop from overuse, sports injuries, changes in activity, biomechanics, or repetitive stress on a tendon. Treatment should be tailored not only to where the tendon hurts, but also to what is causing the problem and how it is affecting your activity and goals.
At Peake Podiatry, we take a personal approach to tendon injuries. Depending on your condition and goals, treatment may include activity modification, bracing or immobilization, custom orthotics, targeted rehabilitation, medications, shockwave therapy, regenerative treatment options, or surgical care when appropriate.
Our Direct Care approach gives us the flexibility to focus on the treatment plan that makes the most sense for you rather than allowing insurance coverage alone to dictate your options. We can review both traditional and advanced treatments, explain the advantages and limitations of each, and help you choose a plan based on your diagnosis, lifestyle, recovery goals, and budget.
Whether your goal is simply walking comfortably again or returning to running, sports, or high-level activity, our focus is getting the tendon healthy and helping you move forward with confidence.
