Dr Patel is originally from South Jersey but now has established roots in Annapolis, MD.

He went to Rutgers University and earned a degree in Biomedical Engineering and then went on to Temple University for Podiatric Medical School. His 3-year surgical residency was at Phoenixville Hospital (now Tower Health) in the Main Line Area in PA, and then he completed a one-year Fellowship in Naples, FL in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery + Minimally Invasive Surgery.
He is board certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

After practicing in Naples, FL, for 3 years, he moved back up to the Northeast to be closer to family, but the added benefit is that he can now paddleboard without alligators in the water!

Other interests include being co-owner of X-Golf Annapolis and being prominent in teaching students, residents, and fellows nationally and internationally.
