What is Liposana?

Liposana is an adipose tissue allograft designed to restore the natural protective fat layer on the bottom of the foot. It helps reduce pain and discomfort by providing immediate cushioning and structural support in areas where fat has been lost or damaged.

How soon will I see results?
Patients often report noticeable improvement in pain within 2 weeks after implantation. Improvements in skin appearance—such as callus reduction—may take more time to develop.

Is there any downtime?
Unlike surgery, Liposana requires minimal downtime. It is typically performed in-office, and patients can return home the same day. Activity should be limited for a couple of weeks post-procedure. Weight-bearing is generally allowed with offloading CAM Boot and/or surgical shoe.

Will I need more than one treatment?
Many patients achieve lasting results with a single implantation, with outcomes supported by data up to 20 months. However, additional implantations may be recommended depending on individual response and physician assessment.
